Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar, renowned for its commitment to excellence in academics and research, has announced job openings for various faculty positions. Pakistani citizens, both male and female, are invited to apply for these prestigious roles. Available Positions
1. Assistant Professor (Medical Education)
- Location: KMU Institute of Health Professions Education & Research (KMU-IHPE&R), Peshawar
- Pay Scale: BPS-19
- Age Limit: 50 years
- Number of Posts: 5
- Eligibility: Candidates must meet the PM&DC/HEC criteria, with an MBBS/BDS as the basic qualification.
2. Professor (General Medicine)
- Location: KMU Institute of Medical Sciences (KMU-IMS), Kohat
- Pay Scale: BPS-21
- Age Limit: As per PM&DC criteria
- Number of Posts: 1
- Eligibility: As per PM&DC criteria.
Application Process
Candidates can obtain the application form from the KMU website www.kmu.edu.pk. Along with the form, applicants must submit the following documents:
- Three recent passport-size photographs
- Attested copies of educational certificates, degrees, and DMCs
- Experience certificates
- Copy of Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
- Bank receipt of the application processing fee
Application Processing Fees:
- BPS-21: Rs. 4500
- BPS-19: Rs. 1000
The fee should be deposited in the Online Account No. 0977029551007356 at Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) Limited in favor of Khyber Medical University.
Important Details
- Applications must clearly mention the serial number and name of the post applied for.
- All new recruitments will be made under the CP Fund scheme. However, current employees under the Pension Scheme will continue with their pensionable service if they remain in the same scheme.
- In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current department.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending these.
