Head of Litigation (AVP/VP) – NBP Jobs 2024
Location: Lahore
Reporting To: Wing Head – Litigation (Central)
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized institution by HEC.
- Preferred: LLB/LLM Degree.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in litigation, with preference for candidates with banking or public sector experience.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of SBP Prudential Regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of banking, civil, and criminal laws.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and people management skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation for the assigned region, including recovery and HR-related matters.
- Liaise with external counsels and facilitate legal proceedings.
- Handle complaints from various external agencies and ensure compliance with court orders.
- Develop and maintain MIS of legal cases and collaborate with internal and external audit teams.
Litigation Manager (OG-II / OG-I) – National Bank of Pakistan
Location: Karachi
Reporting To: Head of Litigation (Karachi)
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent, with a preference for LLB/LLM.
- Experience: At least 5 years in litigation, ideally within banking or public sector organizations.
Required Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of court procedures and litigation processes.
- Strong communication and time management abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement litigation policies across the assigned region.
- Provide legal advice and assist in managing a large legal cases portfolio.
- Ensure all litigation-related risk management measures are in place and provide support for efficient case disposal.
Litigation Officer (OG-III / OG-II) – NBP Careers 2024
Location: Karachi
Reporting To: Head of Litigation (Karachi)
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent, LLB/LLM preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in litigation, with banking or public sector experience preferred.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of court procedures and litigation processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide daily functional support for assigned cases and ensure timely resolution.
- Facilitate court compliance and monitor litigation processes to protect the bank’s interests.
- Collaborate with business units and provide routine status reports.
