Available Positions
1. Clinical Medical Sciences – Faculty of Surgery & Allied Sciences
- Professor (BPS-21) – Anaesthesiology
Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS/MS/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent international terminal qualifications recognized by HEC.
Experience: 10 years of post-terminal qualification teaching/research experience at an HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution.
Research Publications: 15 publications in HEC and PM&DC-recognized journals, with at least 5 in the last 5 years. - Associate Professor (BPS-20) – Anaesthesiology
Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS/MS/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: 5 years of post-terminal qualification teaching/research experience, or 8 years of teaching/research experience with 3 years post-terminal experience.
Research Publications: 10 publications in recognized journals, with at least 4 in the last 5 years. - Assistant Professor (BPS-19) – Anaesthesiology
Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS/MS/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: 2 years of teaching experience in a relevant field.
Research Publications: 2 publications in HEC and PM&DC-recognized journals. - Senior Registrar (BPS-19) – Anaesthesiology
Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS/MS/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Research Publications: Not required.
2. Faculty of Medicine & Allied Sciences
- Professor (BPS-21) – Paediatrics
Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS/MD/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: 10 years of post-terminal qualification teaching/research experience.
Research Publications: 15 publications in recognized journals, with at least 5 in the last 5 years. - Associate Professor (BPS-20) – Paediatrics
Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS/MD/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: 5 years of post-terminal qualification teaching/research experience, or 8 years of teaching/research experience with 3 years post-terminal experience.
Research Publications: 10 publications, with at least 4 in the last 5 years. - Assistant Professor (BPS-19) – Paediatrics
Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS/MD/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: 2 years of teaching experience.
Research Publications: 2 publications required. - Senior Registrar (BPS-19) – Paediatrics
Qualifications: MBBS with FCPS/MD/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.

3. Faculty of Dentistry – Clinical Dental Sciences
- Professor (BPS-21) – Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery / Orthodontics
Qualifications: BDS with FCPS/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: 10 years of post-terminal qualification teaching/research experience.
Research Publications: 15 publications, with at least 5 in the last 5 years. - Assistant Professor (BPS-19) – Orthodontics / Paedodontics
Qualifications: BDS with FCPS/Diplomat of the American Board or equivalent.
Experience: 2 years of teaching experience.
Research Publications: 2 publications required. - Lecturer (BPS-17/18) – Dentistry
Qualifications: BDS with M.Sc./FCPS Part-I.
Experience: None required.
Research Publications: Not required.

Candidates interested in applying for these positions at LUMHS must submit their application forms by Wednesday, 11th September 2024. Application forms are available at the Director Human Resources office, LUMHS Jamshoro, for Rs. 2500/- (non-refundable) or can be downloaded from the LUMHS Website.

- PM&DC Experience Certificate is mandatory.
- Age relaxation is available per government policy.
- Candidates currently employed in government or semi-government organizations must apply through proper channels and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test/interview.
- The university reserves the right to cancel any or all positions.
- No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test/interview.
