Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this Technical Advisor role, candidates must have the following:
- Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Ports, Shipping, Naval Sciences, Maritime Sciences, or Maritime Business & Management from a globally recognized university/HEC-accredited institution, with at least 14 years of professional experience.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in the relevant subjects with 18 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry.
- Experience: A minimum of 14 years of professional experience for Ph.D. holders or 18 years for Master’s degree holders in relevant fields.
- Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 62 years, as of the closing date of application submission.
Contract and Compensation
- Tenure: The initial contract is for three (03) years, with the possibility of annual extensions for up to two (02) additional years, based on performance.
- Termination: The contract may be terminated by either party with one month’s notice or by paying one month’s basic salary in lieu of notice.
- Pay Package: The position offers an MP-I Scale pay package, as per the Management Position Scale Policy.
