Key Responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The CEO will be tasked with leading LESCO’s operations and strategic direction. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO will ensure LESCO meets its operational and financial goals while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the efficient management of LESCO’s resources.
- Implementing board-approved strategies and policies.
- Ensuring proper safeguarding of funds and resources.
- Maintaining compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience for CEO at LESCO
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering (HEC/PEC recognized). Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, MBA, Finance, Strategic Planning, or related fields. Key qualifications include:
- At least 10 years of experience in senior management, governance, or business administration.
- A proven track record in the energy sector or relevant industries.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
Remuneration and Contract Details
- Competitive market-based salary (MP-1).
- Maximum age: 62 years (on the closing date).
- Initial contract period of 3 years, subject to annual performance reviews.
